In short
- Dagomi asks assistants the questions a prospective buyer would ask — without your brand name in them.
- For every question you see: mentioned or not mentioned, and which competitors are recommended instead.
- Measurement runs once a week, because AI answers shift over weeks, not days. You can change the questions at any time and measure immediately.
Why the questions do not contain your name
Anyone who asks an assistant about your brand gets your brand mentioned. That measures nothing. The buying questions in Dagomi therefore deliberately do not contain your brand name — what is measured is whether someone who does not know you yet finds you. Exactly one control question names the brand explicitly; it shows whether the assistant knows you at all. The metric keeps the two apart, otherwise the control question would flatter every result.
What you see
For every question it says: mentioned or not mentioned. Plus the competitors the assistant recommended instead — often the same three or four, week after week. That is the real value: you see not only that you are missing, but who holds the spot.
Over the weeks a history builds up. A single run says little, because assistants fluctuate; the direction over two months says a lot.
Weekly instead of daily
AI answers do not change overnight. They shift when new content about you appears online and is picked up by the models — that takes weeks. Measuring more often yields the same result and only costs money. So Dagomi measures once a week and keeps the number of questions small.
If you change the questions — add one, switch one off, have new ones suggested — you can measure immediately without waiting for the weekly run.
Derive questions from your services
Finding the right questions is half the work. Dagomi suggests them — from your services and from real inquiries that came in through the widget. You cut, add, rephrase. Good buying questions sound like a person who needs something: with a place, with a target group, without your industry’s jargon.
And then?
Not being mentioned is a task, not a verdict. Assistants recommend what they find online: clear service pages, guides with real answers, posts with substance. That is exactly what the posts in Dagomi are for — the visibility measurement tells you which questions are worth writing about.
How to use it
-
Check the brand
Under “Visibility” you see the name and website of your brand as Dagomi knows them from your setup. Are both correct?
-
Have questions suggested
“Suggest questions” creates buying questions from your services. Cut what does not fit, add what is missing. The control question with your name stays.
-
First measurement
After changing the questions you can measure right away. The answers arrive within a few minutes.
-
Let the weekly run do its work
From then on Dagomi measures once a week automatically. You do not have to do anything.
-
Look at competitors and derive content
See who is mentioned instead of you and for which questions. Use the questions as topics for posts and guides — that is where visibility is built.
Good to know
- The measurement is a sample. Assistants do not answer the same way every time; a single “not mentioned” is not a verdict, a series over weeks is a finding.
- Measurement runs against one major AI provider. Nobody knows exactly which assistants your customers really use — the direction is similar across providers, the details are not.
- On the Dagomi start page the same measurement is available once and free of charge for any brand — the result arrives by email. In the cockpit it runs regularly.
Frequently asked questions
Why don’t the questions contain my name?
Because every question with your name inevitably mentions you — that would be a measurement confirming itself. What is measured is whether someone who does not know you yet finds you. Only the one control question names you, and it is reported separately.
How often is it measured?
Once a week automatically; immediately on click after changes to the questions.
Can I improve visibility directly?
Not with a button — assistants cannot be bought. What works is content that answers the buying questions. Dagomi shows you which questions are open and helps you write with the posts feature.
What does a measurement cost?
Around fifteen cents per question — hence six questions and a weekly rhythm instead of daily runs. In the demo tenant the measurements are paused.
