In short
- Voluntary and explicitly opt-in — the feature is off by default.
- Dagomi analyses your own sent mail and stores only a short style profile from it.
- The mails themselves are not stored. You can view, relearn or delete the profile at any time.
What exactly is stored
When learning, Dagomi reads a limited number of your most recently sent emails and evaluates how you write: how you greet and sign off, how long your sentences are, whether you are formal or informal, how directly you phrase requests, which turns of phrase are typical for you.
The result is a short description of your style — a few lines of text. Only this description is stored. The emails themselves are not saved, not archived and not reused. You can inspect the learned profile in the cockpit before using it.
Why this should be a deliberate decision
Access to a mailbox is a different matter from access to a calendar. That is why the feature is off by default, has to be switched on explicitly, and explains beforehand what happens. Nobody is pushed into it, and Dagomi works fully without it — the texts simply sound more neutral.
Technically the same applies as for the calendar: no password is stored with us. Your IT grants a read permission that can be revoked at any time. For a team we additionally recommend an access policy limiting access to the mailboxes actually involved.
Where the voice takes effect
Everywhere Dagomi writes on your behalf: promises, outreach from the opportunity engine, follow-ups and the accompanying texts for offers. Facts, prices and content do not change — only the tone.
How to switch it on
-
Have the read permission granted
Your IT grants the mail read permission as an application permission in the Azure portal. It is the same route as for the calendar, just a different permission.
-
Activate it in your own profile
Everyone decides for themselves. Under “My profile” you find the “Advisor voice” card with an explanation and the switch.
-
Start the analysis
Dagomi reads your recent sent mail and builds the style profile from it. This takes a moment.
-
Review the profile
You see in plain text what Dagomi learned about your style. If it does not fit, you have it relearned.
-
Change or delete at any time
The switch can be flipped at any time and the profile deleted at any time. After that Dagomi writes neutrally again.
Good to know
- Only your own sent messages are evaluated — not the inbox, and not colleagues’ mail.
- The style profile is bound to your user account. Other people in the same tenant do not see it.
- The feature is independent of the calendar. You can have appointments booked without granting mailbox access — and vice versa.
Frequently asked questions
Are my emails stored?
No. They are read for the analysis, evaluated, and then not stored. The only thing saved is the short style profile, which you can inspect in plain text in the cockpit.
Can anyone else see my profile?
No. The profile belongs to your user account and is used only for texts written on your behalf.
What happens if I switch the feature off again?
Dagomi immediately stops drawing on the style and writes neutrally again. If you also delete the profile, the learned description is gone as well.
Does the advisor voice change content too?
No, only the tone. Prices, services and facts continue to come exclusively from your stored data.
