Keep every promise without having to remember it

A to-do app remembers what you need to do. Dagomi does it — and asks you to approve. That is the whole difference.

In short

  • You capture in one sentence what you promised.
  • Dagomi turns it into the matching message — with salutation, context and your tone.
  • You review, adjust if needed and send. Sent items remain as proof.

Why this is not a task list

Task lists do not fail at remembering, they fail at the work that follows. The entry “send price list to Mr Meyer” sits there for three weeks because writing it costs twenty minutes — salutation, reference to the conversation, the right file, the right tone.

That is exactly where Dagomi steps in. The promise is not the goal, it is the trigger: as soon as you capture it, the draft exists. “I still have to write it” turns into “I just have to read it over”.

Where the draft gets its content

Dagomi knows the customer, the contact person, the prior communication and your service catalogue. So your sentence “send prices for the on-site workshop” does not become an empty template but a message that names the specific workshop, ties back to the conversation and ends with a clear next step.

If you have enabled the advisor voice, Dagomi additionally adopts your writing style — sentence length, salutation, sign-off.

How to use it

  1. Capture the promise

Click “New inquiry” and switch to the “Promise” tab. If you come straight from a customer profile, the customer and primary contact are already preselected.

  2. Say in one sentence what you promised

For example: “Send prices and two dates for the Power Automate workshop.” That is enough — Dagomi knows the rest from the customer record.

  3. Have the draft generated

Dagomi writes the subject and the message. The draft appears right below and waits.

  4. Review and edit

Via “Edit” you open an ordinary text editor — bold, italic, paragraphs, bullet lists. You see the text the way the customer will see it, not as HTML code.

  5. Choose the recipient

Before sending you can still switch the contact person — for instance when the inquiry came through an assistant but the prices should go to management.

  6. Send — and keep the proof

After sending, the promise moves into the “Done” area, with a timestamp and the recipient address actually used. You can reopen and resend it at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Isn’t this just a task tool?

No — and that difference is deliberate. A task tool hands you a line of text you still have to work off. Dagomi hands you the finished message you only need to approve. The effort after remembering disappears, and that effort is exactly why promises get dropped.

Does the message go out automatically?

No. Every promise stays a draft until you click send. Dagomi never sends promises on its own.

Can I change the text beforehand?

Yes, completely. The editor works like an ordinary formatted text field — you see directly how the message will look for the recipient. You can also swap out individual sentences and leave the rest.

What happens if I delete the contact person?

Promises already sent remain fully intact, including the address actually used. Drafts still open lose the link, and you pick a new recipient when sending. Nothing is deleted and no orphaned records are left behind.
